QUOTE (Zephyr @ Jul 26, 2003 - 9:16 PM)
Well, you might be keeping him at the top of the forum, but you're still coming across as rude and immature. You're not showing very much respect. Scooby basicly said the same thing you did in his post toward the top, but he did it without making himself look like a child.

Everybody wants to get the most for whatever it is they're trying to sell. If you think the price is too high, you can say it, but do it while also showing respect.

Just to let you know... I recently sold my 91 GTS with a cracked windshield, torn leather, flaking clear coat, horrible wheels, two bald tires and about 16 dents with 195 thousand miles on it and I got 1800, so it looks like you got took for a fool on your 92 or you don't know enough about what you're saying to back yourself up, especially with the 4K in mods.

Peace.

Do you understand mockery? You seem smart enough, you said that I got took for a fool. I was just mocking you for calling me a fool when, in reality, you were the one that THOUGHT you could read minds.

QUOTE

When you did not know the background or condition of the car.
QUOTE
It's a little silly to call someone a fool for not being able to read your mind.

You thought you could read my mind, so why is it ok for you to call me one. Then, when I mock you calling you one you get all defensive.

I rest my case.

My final quote from you
QUOTE
In your haste you overlooked logic in your arguement and therefore you don't have one.

Andason, just cool it and stop. XS is trying to sell his car, so since you're not interested in buying it, please just leave this thread alone.

By the way XS, your car is very sweet and I'm sad to hear that you're parting with it. Hopefully you'll find the right buyer who's looking for a show car and you can sell it for full price. smile.gif

I love your seats XS. I wish I had the money to that stuff to my car. More power to you to find a buyer.

Question for ya
If its a show car, don't you make money? I'm not sure how shows are run, but if you do make money, why don't you just keep the celi and buy a new car?

XS

sorry for saying the first thing about the car...

if it had a 4a-gze or even a 4a-ge someone would probably definitely buy it

i would try to throw it on ebay or something like that

most peeps around here dont have that kinda cash or already own a 6gc

Actually, if I win the right awards I do win money. But it's getting expensive to keep up with those RIDICULOUS cars when I'm trying to keep it clean. It is after all, a daily driver. Thanks for the compliments guys, I try to work hard. To be honest...now that it's hit me that I'm selling the car I'm growing more attached so I might just keep it until I swap for the 3S-GTE. That all depends on how much I can or cannot get for it. The color actually was the factory "Sea Spray Blue (or pearl i can't remember)" but not only does it change color depending on the lighting, but I think the heavy detaling I do to preserve the paint has darkened the paint a bit, giving it a bit of a deeper blue coloring. As for the engine bay, it's just the factory color...could be all the chrome and polishing that give it a different hue. Thanks again guys, no community will ever be tighter than the 6gen community...that I know for sure!

Maybe you are serious, but unfortunately at 6k, I can't take you seriously. I've already had an offer for 11k and have 2 other people lined up. Whoever offers me the most is going to have to get it. The only fluctuation from the price I'll be giving is for whoever can purchase the car by the end of this week or early next week. Don't get me wrong though, I would love for another 6gen Celica enthusiast to get the car. I just know for a fact that I can get well over 6k for it. But if anything does happen in your favor...I'll make sure to let you know. Thanks anyways.

Thanks Marcusk...I'd sell it to you if you didn't already have a car and had the money. Hehe.
