Drift Mania, Downsview Park Toronto Ontario, August 18 and 19. (sorry its after the fact) Options

I went on the 19 it was the actual competition day, saturday was qualifiers and such. It was good a few 7th gens, no 6 gens, no 5 gens, and a couple of 4th gens. Those were all in the car show part of it though.
It was good i had never seen drifting before, its much more exciting in person, it made me want to get in my car and drift. Those drivers are crazy, and driving around 100000$ or more modded cars and not caring to crash them into walls and everythign else is wild. I guess thier sponsors pay for it all though.

Bad thing was, my GF brought her camera becuase mine is out for repair, i started snapping photos and got about 5 or 6, then it said card full. To our dismay she had forgotten her memory card for the camera. Ah well there is always next year i guess.

I highly recommend seeing a drift competition if you can get around to one. It was awesome.... minus the smell of burning rubber.

i didnt know that Driftmania was back. I saw DX2 like...2 years ago with Signal Auto and some other team that was sponsered by Yashio Factory. If i knew it was going on, i would gone for sure.

my friend went up there for this event.
haven't talked to him about it yet, but yea...drift events are always fun.
