I was just test driving my new 94 GT and it makes a clinking sound that comes from the front left wheel area. Sounds like something might be loose in brakes or suspension. Anyone have an idea? Thx

if it makes a noise when u turn its a cv joint, makes noise when driving, making a wheel bearing, pulls to one side while braking then a wraped rotor

It makes the noise when I drive over bumps. Even little ones. How hard is it to change the wheel bearing?

Well is it something I could do or would a pro have to do it?

you have drop springs on? If so, the strut mount wasn't greased or installed properly. As far as fixing it yourself, it's pretty simple. Best way is to get a Chilton's or Haynes service manual. It has how-to and torque specs so you don't overtighten anything.

It doesn't really matter what color the spring is. Just take a look at your car, does it look like it was lowered like an inch or two?

Ok, then it's like what LewFX said. Possibly bad upper strut mounts. Might as well order all 4 and replace it when you lower your car.

Could even be your sway bar bushings worn. Check it.

the mechanic found it, a bolt was missing from one of the calipers (splg?) on that wheel. I believe he fixed it.
