Is the setup the same between the different years? I want to get the one that hooks up to a 94 with the least amount of fab work. I'm trying to avoid having to weld in a custom setup.

you HAVE to weld, you HAVE to fabricate mounting points, you HAVE to cut your floor pan.

and you can only really use the ST205 rear and not the ST185 (slight differences)

I know that I need to do some mods and fab work (not a problem) but the basic dimensions are the same. If I can't get one of these I have to do a complete custom mock up with a ford 9" rear end or maybe an independent setup instead of the straight axle.

If I can use the st205 setup I will be able to maintain the same geometry for the suspension (better handling, safer) There will be plenty of cutting and welding going on already up front, so I am trying to maintain as much factory integrity as possible, although I will be caging her as well. Using the st205 rear would be the simplest way if I can source the parts.

to the gt4 guys... How much power do you think the factory rear differential can reliably hold?

I have st205 gen 6 rear lsd diff's I have previously sent to the US.
In fact I have most every st205 part in used condition, as we restore st205 cars.
