QUOTE(94celigts @ Jun 26, 2007 - 5:33 PM) I dont know about you guys but the first time i took off my door panels it was in the winter, and i had a hell of a time getting them back on at the top, The next time i did it it was in the summer and i had the windows down, Much easier goes in no trouble, i suggest any door mods taking off the panel try it with the windo dow it makes for an easier time when replacing it. Just to let you guys know, i didnt know if anyone has figured this out before me That's a very good point. I once took the interior door panel off my MR2 a few years back. It was a right cow to get back on. Even when I did manage to refit it, it wasn't quite the same after that! -------------------- |

That'll be 6.299 inches then. I know that. what I want to know is, is a 16cm speaker and a 6.5" speaker the same size? I know 16cm = 6.3" but maybe they just round off their numbers and a 6.5" speaker is really 6.3, or a 16cm speaker is really 16.5cm. so, are a 16cm and a 6.5" speaker the same size just one is english mesasurment and the other is metric? all I really want to know is, will a 6.5" speaker bolt right up to my rear speaker brackets? if not, will any size bolt up? -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

in the rear, 6.5's bolts up with some bastardizing. You gotta cut the mount a bit with a hacksaw and you also gotta use an adaptor.
