Well I guess this is an open letter to the 6GC Community -
I am working on a ST205 conversion of my 6th gen, that some of the older members of the forum will know, I started some 4 years ago after my first 3SGTE conversion burnt to the ground in 2002. I plan to document all of my work in a wiki. http://www.celicawiki.com/wiki/ I also want this wiki to be the be all and end all of Celica / 3SGTE Technology and modification. I feel that this format may be more advantageous then a forum format - I do not want it to replace the many forums on the internet but maybe consolidate and distil all of the information into one source. So Is there anyone interested in contributing to this wiki? If I see something good in the forum - are people going to be pissed if I edit it and post it in the wiki? I assume a MLS style citation at the bottom would be used to give proper credit? Thoughts? Concerns? Hate mail? Let me know Mike -------------------- -Mike

QUOTE(qatar11 @ May 5, 2007 - 9:51 PM) I am working on a ST205 conversion of my 6th gen, that some of the older members of the forum will know, I started some 4 years ago after my first 3SGTE conversion burnt to the ground in 2002. I plan to document all of my work in a wiki. I think there is an opportunity for a 6th-gen specific wiki and from recent conversations with Coomer, it looks like this may be one aspect of a facelifted 6gc.net site. It would be a shame to divide the 6th gen community with two different 6th gen wikis but perhaps you could find a way to work with Coomer. From the name of your site, it sounds more like a generic Celica wiki. If that is the cause, you may want to have a look at celica-club.co.uk, they have a good start on a generic wiki. Mike,
Sorry I'm slow to get to your PM...I've been crazy busy as of late. I am indeed working on some wiki stuff of my own. And I agree...I wouldn't like to have a bunch of information divided between the two sites. Plus, I'd think you may have trouble getting contributors. I know people who weren't very happy with you because you disappeared leaving them with non-functioning harnesses. Did you ever make amends with all of those people? I'll PM you in a few...I was hoping to catch you on AIM. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

We're planning on working it into the future how-to articles/info articles section of the site, which will be done shortly.
