Driving home today there was some morse code coming from the glovebox area. Sounds like a relay clicking on and off repeatedly quickly.

Have looked in some tech pdf files and all I can find is that it might be the Foglight relay or the Heater relay.

Anyone know if theres anything else it might be from that area (relay wise I mean!) I don't have some little guy doing morse code from the glovebox - as far as I know anyway!

Didn't affect the performance at all.

Cheers

Dan

I had the same click, it was coming from a relay that's related to the a/c components. (The a/c idle VSV might need adjustment or replacement). But it could be a different issue but still on the same page, did you try checking for engine codes?

nah, not done either yet.
will see if it does it again today.

and it was a quick click clickclickclickclick clickclick clickclick click

I am sure its gonna be a relay clicking on and off repeatedly, but wasn't sure which it was or what might cause it. Need to get the glovebox out today and see if any are a bit loose. Had alarm fitted recently, the guy could have accidentally knocked one a bit loose I guess.
