Save yourself the time, headache and mess. Just take it to a proffesional shop and have it done. I got all my windows done for barely over $100 and they are guaranteed for life. I had one corner barely peeling and the guy compleately replaced the tint with brand new stuff. It is worth the little bit of extra money to have someone who knows what they are doing get the job done.

Unless you can get your hands on a wide roll of film like the pro shops get forget about doing it in one piece. The stuff you can buy in stores just isn't big enough. Also the hatch has a compound curve like a bowl getting the film to lie flat is a challange unless you are good at shrinking with a heat gun. You can probably get the back done for $40 but if you really wanna try it go for it.

I finished this flawlessly. I am aware of tinting methods and how to tint. I did purchase a 40"x50' roll. Oh and I didn't take off the hatch... and the trim panels just pull off.
