 8" subs in the rear speaker mounts?, is it possible - has anyone done it? |

I know 8s will fit in the fronts - but has anyone fit 8s in the rears?

you could make a custom mount for them... or something to that sort. don't know anyone who has tried it. you'd get some really bad rattle coming from the speaker cover if you dont dampen it.

I believe someone on ebay sells a mounting bracket for a corvette that works for the 8in sub. I could be wrong but Im pretty sure Im right.

i dunno about 8" but i got subs a bit larger than 7" in my rear speaker locations. i would think 8" should fit ok too

^ do you have any pics? where did you get the subs at? and i am assuming you have them running off of an amp. is there a lot of rattle? i dont have really any experience, but doing this seems like a pretty cool idea...

i have these (when they were still called EU-700)
uh.. i don't hv pics of the actual install. an audio shop installed it for me. and i am running them on a nine.2 amp (on same site) i don't listen to any really heavy bass stuff... but i hvn't noticed much rattling when i listen to my songs...
