sorry for my typos, i honestly dont care enough to check -------------------- |

that is so annoying. especially when you're in a rush closing windows and sunroof at the same time, turning off a/c and turn off the car... then realize the sunroof is half open. its annoying.

there is something you can do
![]() My sunroof does not stop halfway... not anymore ![]() ![]() There you go Stick a diode from pin 8 (green/white) to pin 2 (green/yellow) of the sunroof control unit. Do this by striping some insulation off of the wires and soldering in the diode. Shrink tube or tape up Do NOT get it backwards. Of course this involves getting to the unit... which is located behind the headliner on the right side of the driver visor. ![]() This post has been edited by K-ESD: May 29, 2007 - 5:16 PM -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

This ISN'T a failure of any kind. It's by design. It's a safety feature Toyota built in to all their cars as of the early 1990's so you don't crush anyone or their limbs and makes you press the button a second time to close the sunroof. It's kind of like a Microsoft Windows "are you sure you want to close this window" feature.... only your car doesn't crash from an invalid page fault.
