Dude, are these locations you go to in WA? You always seem to find some really good places for shoots.

That one was taken this morning here by richland, I am honestly sick of the same backgrounds
I want pine trees or mountains, just haven't had the time to go anywhere. The desert
produces some great sunsets and sunrises so I try to take advantage of it. The hardest
part is metering with the backlight. meter on the car the sky is too bright and the colors
are not deep, meter off the sky and the car is too dark it is hard to find a happy medium. kindasad.gif

I think I need to take a trip to the East. Given the circumstances and the fact that the sun doesn't produce a whole lot of light at rise/down, the picture still looks really good imo. At least at that time, you don't have to worry about AS many reflections in the paint as you would in the middle of the day.

A ND filter would help with pics like the one above, I just hate to spend money
on this lens.

40d w/28-135 kit lens, don't get me wrong it is a decent lens it just isn't
what I want for car shots, it is kind of right in the middle of the two subjects
I like to shoot most, too big for car/landscape and too small for wildlife/sports.

Latest pic of my pride in basecoat. She's all cleared up now but I don't have any pics of that. All paint and body work done by me. (Yes, I know I have a messy garage. Don't hate.) Overall, I'm very happy with the results. She's beauuu-ti-full!!! Just gotta put her back together & I'll take more pics.

-- classes are starting up now so I can't afford to have anymore projects 'till next summer. Sad sad frown.gif

Is that the 97? Looks really good. Can't wait to see the finished pics.
