Thanks for the link BTW tirerack is okay but no free shipping so heres $69.46 like most websites but free shipping: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performa...mp;brandid=2950 slotted rotors linky: if you dont mind buying 170, im trying to talk this guy down, his lowest so far is 165 which is good since most poswerstop rotors go for 100 each on some websites if you can find them however they are the gold cross drilled and slotted. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Celi...089670409QQrdZ1 This post has been edited by LewFX: Mar 23, 2007 - 9:16 AM -------------------- |

For SS lines, i got the russel ones. They were $125CND or so, but good quality and easy to put in.

QUOTE(defgeph @ Mar 23, 2007 - 5:44 PM) Anyone have links for deals on good quality crossdrilled rotors ? I am not an expert Jeff but everything I have read is that crossdrilled rotors are way overhyped and actually hurt braking. If I were buying new rotors, I would get OEM or regular brembos which are suppose to be good and reasonably priced. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

I have read mixed reviews as well, some love them some hate them. One advantage, the heat dissipation is better with the cross drilled. My problem with OEM is I dont want rotors that are going to rust up on me. I guess the brembo OEM would'nt have that problem.

This place has some good prices on things. Cheapest price Ive seen for superblue and speedbleeders too. The bleeders on here are even cheaper than off the actual speedbleeder.com website (although they could be knockoffs...) |

Make sure those SS brake lines are DOT compliant. One of my friends got those ebay special SS lines and the lines ended up leaking like a mofo.
Brake fluid ATE Super Blue is some awesome stuff. I have literally a case sitting in my garage lol or if you can afford it Motul is also godly. Hawk brake pads are good pads imho. Had some HPS's back in the day. Good bite and rotor wear as well as pretty low brake dust compared to oem. I also liked EBC Greenstuff pads with their almost non-existant brake dust generation. |
