i just received a 4age motor and tranny.16v. for free it jus needs a head gasket. i will be rebuilding it though. i also have turbo kit i might throw in. but might do all motor. what would i have to buy to make this conversion work. i know it bolts right up . i just need to know how to make the wire harness work and powersteering. ac no big deeal idk if i want to keep it. and i still have my 7afe engine. i aam going to end up giving it away to after im done with this motor swap. i just need help and maybe ill give it you the motor.

I believe you can use the stock harness and ECU off the 4age; otherwise, you'll need the ECU and Dr Tweak can help w/the harness.

considering this swap to be easy for st celica's. i was told in another thread that the gearing for 4age blacktop is shorter and the final gear is longer. anybody know what blacktop can top out at?

You need to make a custom hose for the top of the radiator because it will not fit / too short. Unless you can source an 89-91 GTS corolla Radiator and the upper hose.

so if i use the 4age ecu i dont have to mod the 4age wire harness at all?
