hi folks,

I think my celi burns oil, not a lot but general toyota engine characteristic..anyways this time i used 1 litre of Lucas oil stabilizer and 3L of 10W30. Any 1 using this ? Any suggestions? Any comments ?

Replies will be appreciated ..

Also my car was sitting on the driveway for 4 months and i started it this weekend. Needless to say the battery was dead so i boosted it.. But while driving yesterday the speedo started fluctuating and the engine light came on. Then after sometime the check engine light went off and speedo returned to normal. I did an oil change and gota mechanic to look at it. All looks good now. Weird. Anyone have the same experience ?

next time use stabil.....you should never let a car sit that long without starting it every other week. if you put in stabil it can sit for a year and be fine. It sounds like you had build up on parts in the engine. Luckly it looks like the engine heat burned it off. you got lucky biggrin.gif

If your buring oil then some of your seals are probaly bad...check the valve cover..etc...
