Anyone running taller oversized tires and have abs? Any abs lights or problems? Ive heard on some cars it messes with the abs system.

That could be possible.

ABS compares the speed of the vehicle with the turn rate of the wheels. Once your wheels stop moving and the vehicle speed is higher then 3mph the ABS kicks in.....

larger wheels in diameter can throw off your vehicle speed

Hie i run 225/45-17 on my -98 eurospec GT
and i have not notified anything strange?? the abs all seem to work well

The difference in speed with say a 17 inch wheel cannot be much than stock wheels at low speeds anyway. Maybe there is more of a difference at high speeds.

any size wheel is fine if the rolling radius is the same as standard ie larger wheel use a lower profile tyre, so if you have changed this rule then yes it may effect the ABS rotation system.

the abs is not affected so long as all wheels are the same diameter as the abs senses difference between the four wheels.
