Well, the celica is really starting to give me problems and I don't have the time to keep fixing it. So Ive decided to get a newer car. I have 3 cars in mind right now and I'm having trouble deciding which one to get. An S2000, RSX Type S, or 7th gen GTS Celica. All of them in my price range have about the same miles. It will be my daily driver but I don't need a car to haul people around and two seats is not a problem. So basically they're all practical to me.
I can't really think of any other sport compact cars around 13k that were made after 2000 that are any good. Anyone see a car I'm missing? Any opinions on the three that I listed? The only one that I have driven was the GTS and it was pretty nice. I know that the s2k is a good bit different than the two but I just cant make my mind up. |

how about a scion tc?
-------------------- I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |

I'm trying to get something with more power than that. Don't get me wrong the tc is a nice car but it just seems really boring to me.

S2k is a pretty fun car. You can get one for pretty cheap nowadays. Not much of a trunk though.

i'd say either s2k or rsx. both are good cars, each has a couple advantages over the other. a 7gc is just a slower rsx.

In my opinion (as much as I hate to say this) the celica is too slow compared to the others, im assuming the rsx is the same as the dc5 itr pictured above and the gts is the 190hp version of the 7gc. Ive been in a few dc5s & a s2000, and the 7gc does not compare. It seems Toyota are heading away from performance altogether recently.
Edit. I forgot to say, go for the s2000 and you wont regret it! This post has been edited by Aus: Jun 15, 2007 - 8:53 AM -------------------- 1996 UK white ST205
