Ef an Evo VIII, our STs are the real deal.
Ours are basically just for looks and fun to play with on curvy roads, unless you're ready for some extensive mods and possibly a swap. -------------------- |

115 hp? Hey that's more than I thought. Seriously, I heard bhp was 105...maybe that was wrong.
I feel a little better now. -------------------- Rides:
1997 Celica ST-Limited - Daily driver; barely touched. 1997 Saturn SC2 - An exercise in how to change people's perceptions. 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R - Small but mighty; for those days when four wheels just don't cut it. |

either way I feel uncle sam's member in my uncomfortable spot. There's more ford explorers than soccermom's on the 210 and they're worried about 5 horses on a toyota?
o well, least it's a step up from the 5th gen ST. what was that just a hair above 100 hp? -------------------- |

QUOTE(malpaso @ Jun 23, 2007 - 6:10 AM) EDM - European Domestic Market (cars produced for European market, UK included) 1.8 ST produced: 11/93 - 08/99 (LHD), 11/93 - 08/99 (RHD) model: AT200L-BLMSKW (LHD), AT200R-BLMSKW (RHD) engine: 7A-FE, 115BHP more info: all made MTM, liftbacks For the UK there was also an SR model. This was essentially an ST with some parts from the GT and some factory and dealer options fitted as standard. They were produced from Aug 1998 through to Oct 1999 although a few dealers still had one available at the introduction of the 7th Gen. model. In total 250 were made in silver and 250 in black, no special serial number plaque was put on this model. Differences from the ST: The 16" Momo sports alloy rear spoiler side skirts stainless steel mesh grill only available on the SR air conditioning (sunroof remains an option) Sony CD/Radio/Cassette double-DIN lowered and hardened suspension There are unconfirmed rumors that some SRs had carbon-fiber center console. It is a possibility that this was an optional extra - certainly most seem to have the standard black console.
