the wheel bearing for both superstrut and mcpherson suspension are the same. in fact, celicas since 86 as well as most corolla's and camry's share the same wheel bearings.
part number: 90369-38003-77

Is this the same part number for the wheel bearing for JDM models? If not anyone know what the part number is for the JDM GT4 6GC?

all 94-99 Celica use the same front wheel bearings and seals.

on another note. I'm not getting a loud squeeling or howling noise as speed increases. Installed both front timken wheel bearings a year ago and have accumulated 10,000 miles since. Now my front right tire has play. I had both torn outer cv axles and drove my car for a while like that. Since all the grease came out it pretty much tore up my wheel bearing/hub.

When I go over bumps or holes in the ground the front right tire makes a popping/clunking noise. How to diagnose if its the hub?

A few weeks ago I had to replace my wheel bearing so i decided to take a few pictures and do a write up of what i did. It was an easy project which took about an hour to take off, hour to put back on. Youll probably have to wait longer for the machine shop to do the pressing. These steps are good for either side in the front. I only replaced the pass. side so thats all i have here: (please bare with me its my first how to tongue.gif )

Hi thanks for this write up btw, just currently in the process of replacing my wheel bearing but struggling to get the 2 nuts and bolt off the lower control arm. I'm thinking I might have to snap them out but how would I go about replacing them. Seems to be no P/N but don't look standard nuts/bolts to me although they are very rusted it makes it hard to tell.

Wondering if you (or anyone else) knows the size of these so I would feel better snapping them off? Don't want to do it then end up not being able to replace them.
