1st, check throttle cable, could be getting ready to break and hanging up in housing, maybe just un-hook it from engine and see if prb still there. if not that, have codes read, probably some sensor (airflow, throttle position, oxygen, etc) lying to the computer.

There are a number of things to check.

1) MAF

2) Oxyen sensor

3) vacuum hose

Hi smile.gif

Something basic to check first is have you got your AC (air conditioning) on? I know with my car when the ac kicks in the engine drops a few hundred revs, then after a while it returns to normal idle speed.

If this was the first thing you checked or you already knew this, then please ignore this post biggrin.gif

The problem might be with your idle valve, have it checked out or change it, i'm guessing that might be the problem.

Mine idles at 900rpm and with the a/c on 1000rpm. A friend of mine had a similiar problem with yours with his honda, we thought it was his idle valve. You should check out any possible parts related to your prob.
