Hi,
just want to show my Celica to everyone here, so I can get comments, impulses and feedback on my car! It's a at200, 1,8L with 116hk in other words. 1998 model, I got it for my birthday last year, in 2006, and I'm always eager to do something with it, to make it look better. It goes in Trondheim, Norway. Pictures from the seller, the ones I saw on the net before i bought: This post has been edited by peterkos: Jun 20, 2007 - 8:09 PM |

The first thing I did was to rub it down, and polish it. It made it better, but it is some damages on it that I can't fix with wax-products
Then I put in a stereo! Mountet the front speakers in the original holes, and made a new rack in MDF. The soundsystem sounds very well, clean and loud, the SUB helps it go deep and neat in the bad gangsta-songs Front: Infinity Kappa Back: Infinity Kappa 6x9 ( Three way? ) Sub: Rockford Fosgate HE 12" Amplifiers: 1x Alpine Audio 2007 digital 300W, and 1x Alpine Audio 2007 digial 760W. Tuner: A fancy panasonic I don't have the name of, maybe anyone know? Touch-screen and real charming It is all wired up with ' the best ' cables, as my friend called it. I don't really know much about it... Here is two pics that may show how much I helped the paint show off; It's a bit dark, but that's life in a Norwegian winter Then, this spring I got my hand on some new rims. Momo GTR 17", loved them on the car ! I also bought clear side-markers from my local Toyota-dealer. Here is one of the big damages in the body ----- Me and a friend of mines jap-cars The last thing I've done, was to paint my brakes, and inner part of the discs, because they got real rust-brown during the winter. The friggin' state spreads salt in the road in the winter, so it eats my car Painted the calypters red, and the inner-discs black. It became a nice detail. I also installed blue diods in my instrument-cluster. Will make it better later... And btw, I replaced the original bulbs in front with xenonmatch-bulbs. So now it lights 'xenonwhite/blue' insted of the kinda boring yellow-ish original. Enjoy, and please leave comments / give me impulses on what to do. I'm getting it re-sprayed and fixed, so it will be 100% looking. I also am saving money for a SS-III-styling-set. The splitters and skirts. JDM-tails will come Peter This post has been edited by peterkos: Jun 20, 2007 - 8:10 PM |

QUOTE(Valo666 @ Jun 21, 2007 - 12:38 AM) nice looking car, thouse momo rims look good on the car. Whats the antenna on the passanger side rear window for?? If you can see in the first pics, there is a mobile-phone-thingy by the stereo... I think it is in connection with that, but I have of course removed the telephone-handsfree-crap. But the antenna is drilled through the window........ I will remove it, and fix it when i tint my windows later... It annoys me sooo much |

I ordered som blue diods from the net, and it was just to replace them with the original bulbs. Pretty easy, iow. Read the how-to's on this page, that is the ones that made me do it QUOTE(malpaso @ Jun 21, 2007 - 11:14 AM) those Momos are really good Thanks! I totally agree. Maybe they will stand out even more when I lower the car a coupple of inches. |

sweet looking ride, just a suggestion with that colour of yours why not try something other than the ss-iii exterior? you can make your car looking like a show car and you've already got the colour to do so.
maybe a little steady hand with the camera will take better pics. what d.cam are you using? -R -------------------- ROM-23L 67 + 76 = 143

I'm not really a fan of this great, extreme kits. Like it nice and sleek. Yeah, I know some of the pix are real ****ty, because I took them with my mobile-phone in the winter. Damn cold, and shakey hand ;p Got my hand on another digitcam lately, the one I took the last pics with. A Nikon ' Coolpix 885 ' , not a very sick camera, but i satisfies my needs. |

Nice rims, they look really good on your car, but I'd think they wouldn't look good otherwise. Nice choice! Very clean!
Also, I'm actually thinking about visiting Norway soon, how is it there? -------------------- 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STi 1974 Datsun 260Z 1997 Subaru Legacy L Wagon Kind of missin' my Celica GT! Hit me up if you're ever in my area. I'm always down for a meet. |

It have been alot of terrific weather, so if you're into sightseeing, this is the summer to go for Nevertheless, I feel that norwegians most are very social and nice to tourist, and the partynights in the big cities are social and very... drunkalicious Vikings, see? |

Tonight I installed a colour-filter one my LCD-watch. So now it shines blue, like my cluster, and cd-player.
I'm pleased with the result. |

I used the kind of filter they use in theatre and on stages during shows etc. I know a guy working with that kind of things, and he hooked me up!
