can anyone help me: some of the pics on this site just say "user posted image." why wont the pictures show up? is it just me?

Yep, it's due to a bad url, usually from someone linking to a pic that doesn't allow linking or doesn't exist, or from linking to a pic and then removing it at a later time so that it no longer works.
