wow. that's just for the um...strut assembly, you still need the compressor and wiring and bla bla bla. yikes. but, at least it bolts up...that's tight.

How much would the rest of that **** cost? I'd love to have airbags in my car. But that seems like a lot of cash to do it. I'd probably have to buy the stuff one part at a time.

lol... I can get better parts, for better prices. Only problem is it's not a direct replacement, it would take a shop to make it all fit.

I've been wanting to put airbags on my car for quite a while but I hesitate to do so because I am worried how it will affect handling. Will I still be able to take corners like I do now or will the bags be less stable?

Is your suspension stock now? If so, bags might be about the same or a little better. If you have aftermarket springs/struts, you will probably lose some handling abilities with bags. Unless of course, if you got the firestone PRAXXIS system. But they dont make them for our cars and probably never will. -Kaleb |

I have Eibach sportline springs. Will sway bars and strut tower bars counter the negative effects of the bags?

strut bars work to keep the engine bay/hatch area from flexing under heavy lateral Gs during turning, whats this mean? the body will be more ridged and wont give or lean into turns, which means the driver will feel more Gs than usual, but take the load off the body.
Sway bars allow for more traction to remain on the inside tires during a turn by transfering load given to the outside tires, back under the car to the inside wheels. basically what im saying is strut and sway bars do different jobs than the springs/shocks. so altering them may improve handing loss from bags, but it wont "Fix" the problem -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm...
