QUOTE(Hypnox @ Aug 4, 2007 - 9:36 AM) My mom recently bought a 96 celica gts for me when i turn 16 and i want to start putting parts on it before i get it. Anyone got any good links for websites or anything like that? that would rock! thanks. also, you can email me @ zero_extreme11@hotmail.com These forums are an awesome source of information for most all of your needs. The search button works wonders! Also, I would put some money into making sure your car is running at top condition. For example, take it to a trusted mechanic and get their insight on maintenence that needs to be done. Spend your money on that first. I bought my car about two months ago and besides spending about 900 on maintenence, I have only spent 30 on a new intake, which it needed anyway. Everything else I have basically done for free or with the materials I have. Just make sure you don't get bit by the mod-bug, put thousands into mods, and have your engine fall out. -------------------- |

Yea just search around,it depends on how much $ u have to use, what kinda gas milage u need, and ur automotive skills.U can do a engine swap or make a cold air intake, there are all kinds of things u can do,idk much about gt-s,if they are like gt-4s u should have no power problems,as for exterior styling u can put on a body kit and mabye a spoiler/wing,go to the parts database and ull find everything u need, hope this helps. If u ever need any help u can personal message me(go to my profile and click personal message)

Yeah, make sure the car is in tip top shape. Check for rust, and possible "future problems"
and EDUCATE yourself, before you try and tackle a project. Read the stickies, and ask questions. No one ever got hurt asking a question. BTW, Welcome, and Good luck. -------------------- ![]() Kawi Love |

After making sure the car has received a proper tune up.
Start with suspension work.
Remember to purchase quality parts, research is your friend. GL DEF -------------------- ![]() I will return one day. |
