has anyone done the awd conversion?
what was needed? cost? and any type of walk through pic etc etc of the process -------------------- BOOST GETS YOU LAID!!!! |

yes it has been done before.
you will need the awd tranmission, drive shaft, rear suspension, differential, and fuel tank. cost is unknow because price of parts vary, and labor price varies also. there is no walk though, it is not a simple swap. Even though the GT4 and the american celica share the same body design. The back structure of the celica is way different compared to the GT4. Therefore it will not have a simple bolt on conversion. |

i realize its not gona be easy and im estimating about 6k all together roughly im basically looking for a complete parts list and a general walk through from someone who has done it

Bump it up to about 10k and your right on target.
You gotta understand your basically buying a complete car in 2 pieces. So 6k is gonna cover parts, then you gotta fabricate alot and if your doing this completely on your own maybe you can squeak by on that budget but if your having someone do this your def. looking at more. actually i did and it didnt really help i kept finding diff parts lists and not one person who had done the conversion just stories about how they kno sum1 who has done it but yea thats why i made my own thread and im not really in the market for another car as im trying to make my own show car
