cheesecakes.... i could give you a looooooooooong talk about them... big fan of them and ive almost perfected them to my tastes... raspberry and strawberry are my favs... its all in how you bake and let them set to get a good texture

as for dinners... cajun chicken linguine, with a nice cheesy alfredo sauce... you can also add some mozz & parm in the mix and for a seafood touch which seems to be what your going for some shredded shrimp to top

also for burgers... get some 80/20 ground beef, have some fattyness to it so it tastes good... this is a boy your feeding... put some garlic & italian seasoning in with the mix along with some lea&perrins (sp?) but DONT go overkill... then cook it on low heat... preferably on a grill... till it gets a slight pinkish.. brown color to it (enough to make the center that at least) then turn up the heat to crisp up the outside, turn frequently so it has a nice even "shell" so its still tender n juicy on the inside, but semi dry and slightly crisp on the outside

for sides... salads would be good... also theres some company, cant think of the name... but acme & giant (if you have them near you) carry it... its cubed potatoes w/ skins on with rosemary seasoning etc pretty much add some oil n throw on a pan till slightly browned and warm thumbsup.gif

dessert - cheesecake and also turnovers are good & easy to make, add powdered sugar to them n your set!!!!

last time i got cooked for was like 3-4 years ago frown.gif lucky guy! haha

i make fried icecream for dessert.

shin how do you do that? that sounds good!

1st you'll need eggs. keep the yolk remove the whites, you'll need tempura powder. you'll need lotsa oil, and a gauze thingy to hold your icecream. pre heat your oil in a pot, make sure there's enough oil so it'll fully cover the ice cream when dippin in. scoop your icecream into a ball, dip it into well stirred egg yolks, throw icecream covered with yolk into a bowl of tempura powder and make sure there's powder all over the eggs. then put icecream ball on the gauze thingy and dip it into the pot of preheated oil. put it in there bout 10 secs and scoop it up. there you'll have your fried icecream. hot and crispy on the outside, cold and creamy on the inside. wink.gif

Linguine in White Clam Sauce.
the second time I made that it turned out really good... first was not so great

Pork Tenderloin w/ Rice
I've only made it once and it was really salty but I will try again one of these days

Hot Italian Sausage w/ Pasta
its simple and good, I used to make it all the time for my dad and sister cause they loved it

Salmon w/ Shrimp Fried Rice
first time I made the fried rice it came out slightly bland but I found a way to make it a meal on its own

They are fairly easy i actually get a lot of recipies on Philadelphia Cream Cheese’s website creamcheese.com

i think one of the key things is adding the eggs one at a time and stirring just untill blended.

apatizer: bruchetta made on fresh baguet with balsamic viniger, extra extra virgin olive oil, parsley, oregano, a tiny bit of peprika, black peper, tomatoes, and romano and mozzerela on top.

Dinner: steak marinaded in beer, a splash of red wine, black peper, sea salt, a tiny bit of tomato juice, some green onion, chives, and a bit of chipolet & beer bbq sauce
green beans cooked, then suated in a pan with some butter
mash potatoes with dill and cracked black peper in it *sometimes with cheddar mixed in too*

My favorite: Take one cup of soy sauce and half a cup of sugar, heat soy sauce and stir in sugar. Take about 5lbs or so of Short Rib Beef and pour soy sauce/sugar combination on beef... let sit for 30 minutes... drink roughly 1-5 beers during this 30 minutes wait time. Throw meat onto grill on low heat, dont let the meat burn (burning + sugar = bitter meat) but let the meat brown on both sides... serve with some kimchee, rice and of course... more beer wink.gif
