put the gear in D and keep your foot on the floor.

shifting like that does nothing for your car!

nothing. L is first gear. driving on 2 only allows the car to reach second gear. putting it on D with OD off will allow it to go to only 3rd gear, and OD on will allow the car to shift through all 4 gears on its own.

I see a crash in the near future......learn to drive/ reverse in normal conditions before you even consider anything else....at the rate your going your going to hurt yourself...BE SAFE AND DRIVE RESPONSIBLY AND KEEP IT ON THE TRACK.

Lets review.

You put your car in reverse after putting it in neutral on the highway.

You FLOORED the car, in reverse, and hit a curb.

You recently acquired an ATM card but have no idea what its for.

You let your GTI owning guru of a driver friend drive your automatic car whereas he "shifted" and found magical torque that you are only noticing because you were passenger and not driver.

I'm so very much looking forward to your next thread.

Be thankful your here and not posting this stuff on HondaTech or Supraforums.

i believe supersprynt is making a point that on 6gc.net...we might joke, but were all generally nice people. On Htech, and SF...they would be down right cruel.

So u know. the reason u feel more "torque" is that your buddy was probally bring the car to the red line each time he shifted.

I think its simply he was passenger. It's very different on that side.

And yes, thats what I meant. Here we may give you a couple jabs, other places will string u up.

Have a nice trip in Japan its a very cool place.

yeah... i agree with super... all L and 2 do is prevent the car from shifting into a higher gear... when driving you are holding onto the steering wheel, so acceleration and braking are less noticeable as well as forces while turning

and x2 if i were you id slow down a bit, no offense... but you seem to be one of those drivers i stay FAAAAAAR behind and only wish a cop would pull you over

i think that it needs to be made clear that the mods don't condone illegally racing on the site. You seem to mention "racing" in most of your threads. Not only is racing stupid it's dangerous.

i can understand that you are here to learn but i would suggest that before you make any new threads that you use the search function. You may find what you are looking for before asking.

Also, i've said it before but you really should take it easy with you car. You sound like you really beat the car up and i assume you have not had it very long. The kind of things you are posting are either going to badly damage your car or get you in an accident.

I also don't think that the members who have been around for a while need to waste time posting silly comments to everything.

just my $0.02

Sort of a double standard. Vets can't say anything funny but people who are new can?

Ribbing is part of life, get over it.

no I'm implying people who have been around a while should know better. That is all I was saying.

and i said a while, i didn't indicate how long "a while" means.

I just think things like pictures of squid to clarify the joke are not a necessity.
