Hiro Spoiler / TRD Spoiler, wat do u guys think? Options

hey wats up guys? i just received my hiro spoiler from 95silvergt today in the mail. i like what i see and im gonna get it painted white so it can match my car. i figured out how to put it together but the only thing that stumps me is the one bolt thats underneath each side. here's a pic of what im talking about:




am i really going to use just ONE bolt to hold this thing down or what? what is that black stuff is it some kind of glue to hold it down real good? if so where can buy the black sticky glue stuff? what else would help hold down the spoiler? thanks in advance



Just installed it to see what itll look like, i like it aluh, but still gotta get it painteddd
what do you guys think?

well it all depends,if u want to keep the wing on teh car all teh time and not ruin the truck when u take it off then jsut bolt it,also put just 1 bolt on eachh size and see if its strong and sturdy.Its all ur preference.

i would not trust one bolt holding the spoiler down! definitely not safe when travelling at high speeds. the black glue is probably to seal off the stock spoiler bolt holes from leaks.
and by the looks of it, it seems it doesn't have the treading required for the stock bolts to bolt into.
did you try PMing 95silvergt about how these were mounted on the car in the first place?

yea all the hardware i put in the wing or in the box or the posts the glue is used for the seal and stick it to the back that is all it had on it when i took it off my car with the glue all on there. it was hard as hell to get off too. i thought i was goin to break the fiberglass before it would come off. but the one bolt on each side and the glue could handle way over a 100 mph cuz i always was flying fast as hell in japan definitly at night. god i miss i want to go back lol. good luck bro wit the wing.
