Anyone else have problems? I have videos in AVI form and I cant publish a video I made, it just shuts down.
Anyone know how to convert AVI to another format for free? -------------------- |

QUOTE Windows Movie Maker and Vista Problems, I cant publish a damn video Ah, Vista. There's your problem. If you have the install CD for movie maker, I would try repairing it, if that doesn't work try uninstalling and reinstalling. PS - Switch back to XP. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

I agree the key problem here is that you have vista and exspect it to work.
other then that, try a repair or if there are any other ways to get what you want done. like going though another menu if posible that sometimes works for stuff in vista makes no sence i know. just tonight I had a great issue, was just doing some work and out of no were both my monitors shut down and then the 2nd one (laptop is main and 19" crt 2nd) the 2nd one came back up at 800x600 res. no reason just decided it did not like that config. duel monitor support is on a luck only basis. restarted, it did not boot back up, did a hard reboot and it came back up but i had to config my monitors all over again. a lot of my problems are with IE7, webapps with frames are hardly supported and crash if you dont follow spacific orders on clicking things. there are a lot of good programs that will do that conv. few are free unforunatly but you can get a trial, try Ulead video studio i think they have a 30 day full use trial. otherwise google the crap out of avi video converter. Honestly, this laptop came with Vista and i was too lazy to uninstall. that would mean reinstalling EVERYTHING and ?I really don't feel like doing that.
I guess I can just stick with using Movie maker on another computer and wait for updates to come out. -------------------- |
