So the boyfriend and I are starting to ponder the idea of a vacation next late spring or summer or maybe even fall. Probably a 5 day vacation.
I personally wanna do Hawaii and I dont think he has any problem with Hawaii. I know he wants to go to New York and see a game at Yankee Stadium before they rebuild it or whatever theyre doing. My idea of a vacation isnt really doing anything but lounging and staying near the hotel. I dont like to jam pack a vacation with sight seeing and all that. So im just curious if you guys have any good ideas on places to go. Im thinking we probably wanna stay within the country. -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

depending on how much $ u wanna spend and how far you wanna go, i found Nice in the south of France really relaxing. Or even St Raphel. Only thing is, if its a 5 day vacation, you'll spend 3 of thouse days in a plane or on a train, unless you fly directly into Nice airport. Its nice warm weather, not very humid, right beside the mediterainian sea, theres lots you can do, or nothing you can do. But its a nice place to visit. Im seriously urging to get back there sometime soon.

Great shopping on 5th Ave, See a Broadway show, go to the wax museum in times square, go see MTV in times square... go see the Yankees. You can even take a tour of the stadium which i have yet to do. ummmm Bronx Zoo? Museum of Natural History? NY Aquarium? Statue of Liberty? Elis Island? You can always drive up from the city a little and check out West Point which i think is pretty cool. There are plenty of things to do in NY. Although you said you don't really want to sight see. Maybe Niagara Falls, but from what people tell me the Canadian side is much cleaner and nicer to say on. Maybe i just think so cause i live here. Btw: they are making a new stadium, it's next door to the old one. I'm pretty pissed about it esp because i used to get an awesome parking spot on the street, now you cant park there because of the construction. whateverrrr. -------------------- Buy my Celica $2,500 - http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0

Tina thanks for the ideas. Hmmm going to NYC doesnt sound too bad.
He really wants to go to the stadium before they start playing in the new one so thats the reason for the trip to NYC. I wanna see a Yankees vs. Red Sox game if I go out there with him. There better be a celica meet if I come out :-P -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

I'm sure we can put one together if you do come out.
btw if you planning on a Yankee vs. Sox game I'd look for tickets ASAP cause you wont find any on the Yankees website you have to search for them. They sell out as soon as tickets are for sale. Stubhub.com is where i got them last year for the boyfriends b-day but they were like 70x the reg price. it was ridiculous and the seats were not that great. -------------------- Buy my Celica $2,500 - http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0
