Nope.

Nope. When my windows aren't completely up, they look a little like your picture. I think a strip-down is in order. A couple of possibilities: It could be that the stop switch has shifted a little and is turning off the window motor too soon. Another possibility is that the mechanism that holds the window glass is not how it should be. As I said, I haven't seen this myself but the door is easy to strip down so worth taking a look yourself before taking it to a garage.

Thats your window stopper. Im is like that too..after i had my window smashed(theft) and replaced the whole driver door without windows. Replaced window and now it sucks just like yours. You probably need to move the window stopper by the door handle up a little bit more and you should be good.

Not sure if that is the best picture i could of put up
What is happening is that the window is fully up and when i close the door the window does not go under the black strip that runs from the mirror to the end of the back window, it some times gets caught on top of it.
these pic's might help

And as for the open close, up and down i don't know because as i have never been in another 6gen or celica for that matter I got nothing to compare it to. I even go months without seeing another 6gen on the road.

Thanks for trying to help me out, now i know its not a screwed relay or any thing but it sounds odd that my window is to far up you would think time would make it lower.

I have fixed the issue i hope so i though i would get some pics up for every one.

Step one:
Removing the inner door trim.

IPB Image

There are two plastic rivets on the trim near the lock, they should just pull out.
then their are about 4-5 screws on the bottom of the door.
next their are 2 screws on the door between the door and the dash usually underneath some matching caps.(I don't have mine) next remove the screw within the door handle insert this exposes the last screw.
Good to remember to take out your window and mirror controls and their is a connector for the light disconnect.
It sometimes is a little tricky but i find if you start lifting up from the end away from the mirror it should come out easier.

Step two:
Adjusting hight.

IPB Image
front stopper.

I did this first by reconnecting the window controls and lowering my window. When the window is down you are able to see the rubber stoppers that stop your window at a certain hight, Mine are quite worn and i think i will have to get some new ones soon.

IPB Image
Rear stopper.

IPB Image

these Stoppers are adjustable via bolts usually covered buy plastic.
It is quite easy to loosen the bolt a little and then tap it downward about 1-3mm.
you will not need more than that or you window will not seal properly anymore.

Step Three:
Finish Up

At this point you are really finished, but as always it is good to check for any problems.
If every thing ok just put it all back together.
Also for some more information if you are looking at adjusting the angle of your window this is what you are looking for,

Find out if it is your door alignment(check gap) or whether it is your window.

For me, the top of my window was hitting the rubber and preventing it to close. Just today, I realigned myt door and all is well.

Take off front bumper, fender, loosen the two bolts for the door hinge. Line up door then tighten.

Nice writeup. This should be added to the maintenance 'how tos'.
