The rattles.

and compared to earlier (and later) celicas and other cars in general they have a large turning circle, i suppose compared to some yank tanks they wouldnt be too bad, but for a car their size they are frieken terrible.

The turning circle aint that bad for a front wheel. My mates ST182 had a real bad turning circle. could not do a 3 point turn on a 4 lane road.
My mates P10 primera seems to be at least a metre wider.

all ZR 204 had abs, airbag, sunroof, skirts, %99 are manual (im yet to see an auto one) we only have the manual aircon here which all zr are supposed 2 have. I like the manual better anyway, less sh!t to go wrong.

Wait, so this form of a/c is an option? I swear I'd only seen the other kind on the pre-facelifts :S

yeah the first thing i noticed about the celica compared to other cars that i've driven is that it feels like the nose is too long and the front wheels are set too far back to be good at maneuvering full lock turns

What is a ZR? Is that a ST204? Poo 5s-fe engine, almost as bad as 3s-fe tongue.gif We call that a Toyota Celica GT in New Zealand.... Probably similar to the US Toyota Celica GT. The GT models don't seem to have many of the nicer options that I find either or on JDM models but never all in one car

I really hate that our bumpers both front and rear wrap around only a little bit and dont end right at the wheel well. If they did wrap right to the wheel well there would be alot more options for lips and no one would have to worry about taking off a bumper after lips are nicely molded and installed.

SX is the poverty pack model in aussie, with most things being optional (abs, sunroof, air conetc)
ZR is the upper spec one, everything stock (side skirts, abs, sunroof, air con etc)

there is exceptions because ive seen some ZRs less skirts and air con.

both these have the 5sfe engine, no aus delivered 3sge or 3sfe or 7afe here.

Then of course is the GT-FOUR Group A Rallye, all 77 of them, 17 had a sunroof, air con was supposed to be an option but im %99 sure all were optioned with it. Sunroof was also an option. Sunroof was $2500 extra, and air con was another $2000 extra. giving a grand total of about $87 000 aussie pesos when new.

All aus delivery celicas have manual air con, climate control was imports only. even the 7th gens here have manual air con.

headlight tabs is annoying how they break easily.

i dont get the problem with the cup holders. Its a better spot then the 5th gens. Its annoying havving them in front of your head unit, and if it was in the same spot in outs it would also be in front of the heater controls.
