5sfe engine is underpowerd for a sports car seats are abit uncomfortable as i am tall, the tight asses at toyota only put an adjustible seat for the driver and the fact that its a front wheel drive but i still love my baby, besides that it handles well and looks good very reliable

The fact that I have an automatic connected to 105 hp sitting on 14's
But, the styling is nice, especially inside...has that sports-car feel, just not too much speed. Tinted windows are nice. And, I get 32 mpg. This post has been edited by RickJamesBish: Jun 26, 2008 - 12:54 PM |

I don't care for its propensity to burn oil a bit. That doesn't thrill me at all.

Hi guys, my 1st post.
Like NaderG, I am 6'3" and getting out of my Celica is the one thing I don't like. Not because I don't want to get out, (sometimes I don't) but when it's time, it can be a real struggle untangling the legs from the doortrim and then pushing up to exit the car. The lower back takes a pounding. But that's a minor issue from a cool car, 5SFE engine and all! This post has been edited by Bellakelpie: Jun 27, 2008 - 7:53 PM |

I've only had my SX a week and so far it's great but yeah I have to get used to the larger turning circle after driving my crappy Lancer which turned on a dime.
Road noise you say the original n previous owner of my SX used EBV foam (think thats it) so very limited noise. Back seats suck but hell it's only the kids that ride there Btw I'm a newb here so HI! to all. -------------------- |

I love most things about the celica but I hate the cup holders ARGH! don't particulary like the 2.2 litre lack of power but It's easy to live with, hate the tyre getting in the way in the boot, and would rather it not be front wheel but again its easy to live with cause of the nice handling.

definitely has to be the way the windows/doors drain when it rains, creating rust at the base of the doors. thats a manufacturers defect and it pisses me off every time i clean the car.

Were many Jpn SS models imported in Australia or were there always ****ty laws regarding importing? The ****ty laws only came out here in the last year or two. Fk I love my Three, A beams with a sunroof would be better tho... or a late spec GT-Four might just have to be my next car

Umm in australia there was SX, SX-R, ZR, Europe edition which all were 2.2 litres, also brought out ST202 convertibles but its very rare to see the hatch with the 2.0 litre, I'm unsure if it has the 3SGE or 3SFE? and then of coaurse brought out 77 GT-fours.
