Bringing an old but interesting thread back from the dead...

I dislike that mine doesn't have a 3S-GTE sitting under the hood mad.gif

This.

But I will rectify the lack of foresight Toyota of America seemed to be under in 1999. biggrin.gif

...you know what I cant think of anything thats wrong with my celica at the moment, I like the idea of the design of the cupholders, how they fold away and are hidden, the location isn't that great i'll admit, but I hardy ever use them, so it doesn't bother me (the first couple of months owning the car I thought mine didnt come with them laugh.gif)

one thing i hate is that right now it needs some work done which I can't assess because of school and i'm low on $$, plus christmas is just around the corner. the car is getting to that point where the original suspension components are at their limit. the bushings and bearings for the rear suspension arms are worn making the car pull left or pull right on its own, need to replace tires, get a new alignment, new safety, replace front shocks, and a few more winter mods: i'm thinking of changing my heated seat elements for better ones (possibly volkswagen ones) cuz mine are weak, and adding an inline water heater which will also be wired along with my existing block heater and interior electric heater to a single plug.. oh and i've been so busy lately that i wished the car could somehow just wash and wax itself. i have old fast food garbage, parking ticket passes, and car parts lying everywhere.

i wouldnt say hate, but i dislike all the rattling my interior does when the bass starts in. i have an st and i have no problem beating my sisters mustang (ok, maybe a little trouble lol), so power is not that bad....but compared to a gt4.....no comparison. the 3 post spoiler doesnt look all that good, better than the spoiler on the eagle talon though, that thing is ugly as balls.

Holy back from the dead, again. I'll add my thoughts:

-Cupholders
-I'm not a GT-Four
-Stock Interior Lights
-Stock Antenna
-THE OLD FASHIONED ODOMETER/TRIP. Nobody dislikes that, seriously!? Like every car from 95+ has an LED Odometer/trip! What was Toyota doing!? lol

That is the ONE thing I would change about the dash design. It just looks like you're driving an old car from the driver's seat.

I don't like the fact that it sits in my yard and it's not running. I can fix it for $97/mo, but I'm just not so sure that I want to make payments on 2 cars. I'll probably just keep saving up and fix it up with no payments.

cup holders are not as bad as the 5th gen but i still dont like them. and the fact that the united states didn't get the GT-4 that's what i don't like. but other than that i think it's just fine.
