ok, so i have a 95 celica st with the 7afe. I need a new clutch and wanted to get a lightened flywheel, but i cannot find any place selling a lightened flywheel for the car. can anyone help? and yes i did a search and yes i looked in the parts section on the homepage. unless i overlooked it. I would greatly appriciated any help anyone can give me.

Maybe I just searched bad on manufacturers page but there are no flywheels for 7AFE

you should be able to find a reputable shop to do it for you. i know that ACT would make one. thats where mine is right now

Lightweight Flywheel, what improvements will this do to my car?

It doens't give you any increased power, but by decreasing the weight it's easier for the engine to rotate essentially giving you slightly getter acceleration..

i have a couple of friends that work there so i kind of got a good discount $300 for part number TC2-HDSS and for my flywheel to get resurfaced and lightened. I think i'll get them this thursday and get my new trans. on thursday or friday. i was trying to find a c56 with no luck so i'm just getting another c52 -------------------- |

guys, you can use a lightened flywheel from a 7a corolla, look on ebay.

from what I understand, the 7afe and 4afe are the same, and maybe the 7age, but I'm not sure. they used to be one ebay, I looked a while abck and found some, no lck now...

7afe and 4afe are the same just make sure its the 6-bolt flywheel and not the 8-bolt one that comes on a 4age

as far as 7afes and 4afes go ive only seen 6 bolts. as far as 4ages go you could be right, i assumed they were all 8 bolts.

if i were you i wouldnt bother....lightend flywheels only make your car rev up faster..with the regular flywheel you have more of a moving mass which in the end helps...if you can understand what i am tyin to say...its an extra 300 you could spend elsewhere and get more out of your car imo

This is my goal (94 ST). |
