This is making its way through all the forums:

Modifying the 3SG non turbo engine on http://www.roadandtrack.net.au/

Some interesting comments:
* pretty much anything you do external to the engine will give negligible benefits (pod filters, CAI, exhausts
* snorkel ram scoop is likely to be better than a CAI mounted close to the road surface
* standard Toyota air intake always seems to be several degrees lower than the engine bay; most pod filters are so badly fitted that they do nothing or actually suck in warmer air than the standard setup
* changing the camshaft is likely to be the single greatest change one can make

most of it is related the the mr2 though, regarding the air filters

lol, yeah road and track is a good site. From what i hear, they offer stroker kits for the 3sge AND 5sfe. They claim that they focus more on tourqe than extremely high compression as far as their stroker kits go, but they also offer making high comp pistons, head work, etc. Something to look into for you N/A guys ^_^
