One of my doors are not lined up(installed) properly by the last owner causing the top of the glass to hit the top rubber trim and not closing properly.

It is slightly tilted upwards away from the hinges instead of parallel to the body/ground. How do I go about adjusting it back?

Pic shows what I am talking about(exaggerated view but u get the idea)

measure the seams of the doors if they are ok all the way, maybe only the window needs adjusting..

only thing that you might b able to do, loosen off the 2 screws that hold the door striker onto the frame, tap it down a bit. that should settle your door down a little bit.

that spoiler came stock on the ssIII. it is just the stock 2post spoiler with risers if you want to put it on your car. just contact doggy or whoever is selling them.
sorry to hear about your door bro. i hate it when little things like that happen. i love your car though. i wish i could get a hold of a ssIII.

Thanks for the replies, If I look along the body line where the door meets quarterpanels.. I can see that the door is very slightly higher which seems to be the culprit. Will take a good look at the glass but I am pretty sure it is not the glass that is causing the problem.

As mentioned by other forum members, that is a stock ss3 spoiler. smile.gif

maybe this'll help: How to adjust your door

if you follow the how-to, you can adjust the metal plate inside the door striker up a notch.

Would just like to update that I have solved the issue. Mucked about with the door striker for close to an hour before i decided it was going nowhere.

Removed front bumper. removed fender. Got to the top two hinge bolts, made it loose, shut door and then tightened them back up. All good after that.
