I'm not making them with projectors... you can BUY the projector with your order, but it's up to you to retrofit and make a new housing.... His labor and parts and all that comes out to be about the price of JDM's

but you can purchase a projector that would need to be retrofitted into the stock housing.

you show a picture of black housing surrounding the headlight inside does it eliminate the bulb from blinding drivers in front of you...

Guys... I won't be retrofitting ANY projectors in these. I have no desire to, like previously stated... I already have my custom projectors AND clear lenses. This item was for absolutely no benefit for me at ALL. If someone else wants to tackle that project, then GREAT, but I really have no time to do this.

Yep, you just get clear lenses... and there's an option if you want to buy projectors also.

ok well this one is going to be a bit more tricky... I dont have an extra set of HIDS to check the light output... If anyone has suggestions please email them to me!

I really dont think blinding people will be an issue at all. With prior experience, the light has become more focused and not spread out. I will take pics though when I install it all!

i just purchased my rebased bulbs for my HID set, so i figured out that the stock lens definately does not do much for how the light is projected except for dirt or obstructions in the light because of how its refracted. before when i had the wrong bulb base the lens didn't do much to make the light cutoff. now with the correct bulb base, sitting in the housing correctly, the light cutoff is perfect. and also adding the fact that these bulbs are rebased D2R bulbs made in germany, specially made for reflective lenses vs. projectors helps, i think; lol.

Frosted lens defines the pattern, and are made to refract some light over the horizon. HID cutoff sends almost zero lights above the horizon. Putting a HID..which output almost 3X the lumens of an halogen bulbs will send too much lights into the eyes of incoming traffic (and that doesnt help you seeing better at night too). Yes these bulbs you got are made for reflectors HID...celica doesn't use reflectors it uses a parabolic/free forming reflector to direct the light on the frosted lens to make some very very bad pattern.
