this is the one you want with the coils in parallel as well as the subs... 1ohm = 1200 watts/2 is 600 watts a sub you're going to have to redo your entire electrical system for those subs new battery, alternator if you can find one, 0/1 gauge wire, grounded back to the battery not the trunk... capacitor, the whole deal any other good name amp company too with the same specs will work but you want 1200w at 1 ohm, do not exceed that! JL, Crossfire, JBL are all great amps to look for... i recommend ED but i've used others as well for installs This post has been edited by pittfirefighter: Jul 11, 2007 - 9:17 PM -------------------- Breaking Axles...

QUOTE(CelicaST_CALI @ Jul 11, 2007 - 10:36 PM) why can i not exceed one ohm?and what about this amp,how many channels should it be if im jsut powering the subs? Also can i run my aftyermarket speakers off teh stock amp?Where is teh stock amp located? cannot exceed 1200watts at one ohm is what i'm saying... more than 1200 watts and you'll run risk of blowing the subs.... that amp is a one channel amp... to get that kinda power you will want to use a one channel amp or you'll pay dearly for a two channel amp to power those subs right... so you'll only be able to power the subs off of it, ST's do not have a separate amp like GT's do, its built into the head unit with the four 6.5 speakers.... and puts out roughly 15watts per speaker or 4 channels -------------------- Breaking Axles...
