Sorry for the extremely noobie question...

How do the headlights come out? I am assuming the front bumper cover has to come off, correct? I am replacing a headlight that doens't have any mounting tabs anymore. I'm quite handy with wrenches and I'll just start digging into it at some point, but I'm sorta hoping there's a way to do this without having to pull the bumper cover.

Also, 2 or 3 of the headlights are missing the seals. Can these be installed after-the-fact when everything is reassembled, or can they only be installed when the front bumper is off?

Thanks for the help, and sorry again for the noob questions. I did do a search. I also searched for repair manuals in several local stores--no such luck mad.gif

sorry to say but you do have to remove the front bumper cover. as for the seals i dont see why you cant just slide them on with the bumper cover still on.

I'm sorta hoping there's a way to do this without having to pull the bumper cover.

You'll need to remove the bumper to change the headlight housings. Removing the bumper means removing the two front wheel arch liners and undoing three nuts/bolts between the front of the fender and the bumper. I find it easier to undo those nuts with the bottom of the air box removed and the washer reservoir unbolted and slid back out of the way. It is possible to undo the fender nuts with the airbox and washer reservoir in place, but it makes the job harder.
