Just a note about top speeds. Speedos are dialed in the factor to be really accurate from 0-75, but after that it gets hazy. And if you've never changed out your VSS (Vechile Speed Sensor), odds are your readings are off and maybe you're expirencing a weird cruise control.

When I had my FC T2, everyone thought the car topped out at 155mph (I'll vouch) but some testing and radar clocking revealed the FC's were general topping out at 145-147mph. Proof the speedos werent dialed in too well.

Food for thought.

I recon these days even the GT-Fours (standard) are getting further and further down the food chain...I struggled to fend off my mates 2.6 turbo deisel Vauxhaul Vectra before I had a new ECU fitted.
Hot hatches here are getting hotter by the year, even some little Vauxhall Corsas come from the factory with around 200BHP.
Big old heavy GT-fours are gonna get beaten more and more frown.gif

Even running 350BHP a few cars still suprize me that you wouldnt expect anything from....especially modern deisels, some are very rapid indeed.
