I could never see the display so I took the radio apart and tested the display lights on the cd player and radio with a 9V battery. CD light came on (I took the green condom off to get more light, hard to see). The radio light did not come on however.

Anyone know what size or number the bulb in the stock ST radio is (16404)?

I desoldered it and will take it to find a match tomorrow.

Where should I start out?

The CD player will be all white (only has one bulb for all buttons). SHould I take the condoms off all the radio buttons too so they match?

Thanks!

now that you have the face plate out, post a pic to see what it looks like. especially if you like to solder...

maybe you can achieve this....

Is there more than one light in the CD player face? I only saw the one with a clear plastic bar to carry the light to the display and other buttons.

I'm trying to sell the car, don't want to put a bunch of work into it for somebody else (I've already done way too much!)

The more I work on cleaning the car up, the less I want to sell. Looks good with a fresh waxing.
