Someone dented my roof anyone know an easy way to remove the headliner so i can pound it out?

any other suggestions for fixing my roof? it isn't too deep and i was able to partially push it out from inside.

there are pins that hold it up on the ends, and you also have to remove the panels that are on the sides...

Depending on the dent...you could heat up the dented part of the metal with a hair dryer and then put a piece of dry ice in the middle of the dent, that should pop it out...depending on the dent.

I've heard the dry ice thing is a myth...

has anyone actually tried this?

ok listen.....take off ur pillars on each side, then ur gonna have to get a torque driver with a phillips bit to take off the mirror, then take off ur sunroof control switch (if you have one), take off ur sun visors, then in the back of the headliner are 3 plastic push-ins, pull them out. then be carefull and pull down in the center and it pops right out., trust me its very easy i did it 3 times on saturday when i changed my headliner and my entire sunroof assembly. any other ?'s......just ask.

Yeah, my dad and I did it when one of his cars got dented on the trunk lid.
