I want my 7a to be faster right now i only have a Injen CAI, and besides that i know the best way for the greatest amount of a power increase is to turbo it which i want to but i dont have the money right now, so other then that can someone help me out with some good ideas of power other then a turbo and tell me what it is and if theres a link itd appreciate it thanks, and yes i have done research already i just want to see what you guys think, thanks a lot

You could get some headers.. and full ex. system other then that just start saving for that turbo.

thanks daft i ordered a sp2 made by greddy off nopi then they called me back and said that is discontinued, do you have any sites that have good headers and a full exhaust system that would be a pretty good direct fit or even close?

best fit and cheapest price would be a local exhaust shop (midas is good), find a muffler you like and take it to them, theyll make you cat back and weld it up to your muffler, 2.25" piping or 2.5" piping works best and it only costs bout $150

really thanks i found a muffler i want its a universial 2.25 from magnaflow how much do you think id cost for labor or do you think itd be about the same 150???

for the 7a and the 5s theres really not all that much you can do but cai headers and full exhaust and cam if you can find them and unless you find a cheap turbo for it its really not worth it cause even then you only going to be able to boost about 7-8 psi and pay close to 2 to 3000 dollars....(not enough boost for me) if anything if you going to mod your car...save your money and do the 3sgte swap it will probibly be a lil bit more then buying a turbo but atleast the motor can handle the boost a lot better ..... and i have been on the site for a lil while and for the most part everyone will say if you going to do anything to your car as far as mods go just swap it ......

really thanks if i did swap it itd probably get a bigger turbo for it anyway since then internals would most likely be stronger then the 7a

actuly to get more boost if im not mistaken all you have to do is alow more flow insted of a top mount intercooler just get a front mount ..... should alow more flow witch alows more boost more boost is always fun

yeah thats if i got a 3s-gte but i just want some basic power for now, so i can smoke integras, and just little things, my friend was messign around with em in his 500 hp srt-10 that thing is a beast

3sgte swaps are hella expensive though, i thought he didnt want to spend 5 grand and a month putting it in lol

well i guess it depends on the integras and assumeing you race them at the track .... integras are a heavyer bread the LS are slow but if your going to try and race anything in the b seires (b16,b18,ext. ) you have no chance at all my cuzin has an srt-4 that was stock at the time and his fastest run at the 8th was like 9.3 and his 91 crx b16 swap ran like a 9.6 cause it had bad tires and the shift lickage bolt was falling off during the race there pretty fast

yeah i know he dosent want to spend that kind of money but for the power hes looking for he ant going to get it with miner mods..... hes best bet would be to save and save then drop it thats what im doing lol hahahahahaa i should be getting mine in december

right now i want at least 250 and the only way ill get that is turbo or 3sgte but i dont mind having little advances in power anythign will help right now

If you are going to keep the current motor in it and you have a week to spare with the car down, a port and polish may be a consideration... i shouldn't be over 1000 If you do the work yourself....

i researched it, and yea i could but its definetaly not worth it...

the 7a is doomed to be an 80 hp slowica, and only a swap can fix that. If you want to run with stock v-tech civics then get the accord cold air intake and full 2.5" headerback exhaust, maybe even advance your timing and run 91 octane. That should put u in their league lol

why do you guys use accord intakes, Injen makes a CAI for 94-99 celica GTs
but i got it to fit on my 97 st
