Sup guys, I was replacing my rear strut dust cover with the ones from KYB and I noticed that there is a ring/spacer, maybe a bearing, right below the strut's damper nut. And i'm thinking "Is that how it suppose to be?" Anyways, I didn't install my rear drop springs BTW so I was unaware of it until now. So does that ring/spacer suppose to be under the damper nut and above the upper strut mount or is it suppose to be below the upper strut mount? Need help on this one, thanks.

Nah, it's more like a ring about 1/2" or so and goes right around the damper's threaded end.

Then it sounds like it would go on the bottom of the body's strut mount location. Most likely to abuse some shock and balance things out.

But I'm purely guessing, I haven't done suspension work on a 6gc for years. I'd dbl check with a FSM
