haha. yeah, I actually did. why? well 1: I was too lazy to mask it off and 2: it looks all shiny as if I used a tire shine on it. lol. it'll probably wear off but oh well it couldn't look worse than it did before. I just painted the front side wall

I just needed a clear coat and couldn't find any in the OSH brand, so i just grabbed the brand next to it which was that stuff. it seems to have worked. my wheels are nice and shiny smile.gif

I'll try to take a better pic tomorrow. it was dark by the time I finished both sides so I didn't take any pics of the other side.

Looks good. Gold would be another good opition when you get bored of the black in a few months.

And don't worry about spraying the tires. Paint doesn't stick to rubber well, itll flake off.

The rim does look good in black. I painted my tires before, AHA. They never wore off, except when i hit the curb from parking lol.

I used a pressure washer to take all the junk off it. then I just sanded the front with a 400-grit sandpaper for just a minute or two each wheel. then did two coats of color and one of clear.

I took it off to sand and paint. I wouldn't want to paint my cross drilled and slotted rotors! tongue.gif I only used one sheet of 400-grit. and my wheels were just really dirty and I was too lazy to scrub them. if yours are also dirty, you could try a strong soap like dish soap and then just scrub them with something.

meh. the spray paint is temporary. it looked better than having silver fenders on the green car. lol. I had originally planned to get a full body kit. fenders, gt-four blocks, 404 rear lip, 404 sides, and trd front extensions and then get the whole car painted at one time... but I changed my mind halfway through; because I started saving up for something else... you know, I wanted performance more so than visuals (what a ricer thing to say, right?). so, anybody who calls me rice can have another look at what sits behind my front bumper and then if they'd still like to call me a ricer, I'll just say I'll see you at the track and we'll see who's smiling then.

Not so much rice. More of ghetto-ness with the black spray paint over tyres tongue.gif
Things like not spending a few minutes to mask etc. If it is temporary then no worries, it is just painful to see another celica not treated properly. Should look good once you get the kit on and respray everything properly thumbsup.gif
