Can anyone show me what they're talking about? When the time comes, if I can't figure it out, I'll just get someone to do it for me. Does anyone know what kind of silicone to use? Also, isn't there something like a sealant to put on along with the valve cover gasket? Thanks you guys.

It is not supposed to have oil. Either you spilled oil into it accidentally while changing oil or you would need to change the gasket(valve cover gasket)

I believe it's the gasket. Damn, that's what I thought it was. Would there be a reason why I can't get the spark plugs out?

Thanks man.

Get some small rubber hose and once you have the plugs loosened all the way slip the hose over the end of the plug and pull it out like that.

Also use the hose to put it back in this will help you from galling the threads.

On another note, does anyone know where I can get one of these:

It's on my intake and it's getting all rotted and such, time to replace. I got it from a shop back in the day, they had a spare one laying around. Maybe if anyone knows anything close to this or something they might use also? Thanks guys, for all your help! And thanks for your patience with yet another "no0b attempting sht thread!"

pull that little plug off, then pull that little filter on you valve cover off. then get a 3/8" fuel hose and connect the two. that's how it's supposed to be. smile.gif

I know that's how it's supposed to go...but that's not how I want it.
