What emblems are "shaved?" Do you mean removed?

Kind'of like you mods, dude. But I have to ask,

IPB Image

I think it looks kinda blurry, it may be the picture, but to me it looks ' cheap ' as you say it. Did you remove the current filter, the brown-a-like plastic, before you added the blue filter? I did the same thing to my clock, and got what I would say was ' a perfect, smooth ' clock.

I believe the reason for the blurryness is the quality of the material I was using and also because I used two sheets. If I could get my hands on some of that stage lighting stuff, I could probably do it with one.

Aside from that, it actually isnt that blurry but I can see a difference between mine and yours. What did you use?

I used the kind of filter they use in live shows and such, you see I know this guy who works with this light-settings and such, so I asked him out for the most used blue-colour, and it had to be heat-ressistant. So he hooked me up with some good things. You could go ask your local-light-guy too ! ;P It was very clean and sweet.

Sweet car, tough! Nice mate.

Its probably the materials. Mine has little/no reflection.

Oh and the "insertion" was simply taking apart the clock, cuttin the pieces to fit into it (it overlaps alot but you cant see it) and just dropping it in.

I never glued it, maybe thats your problem. I just dropped the material in and made sure it was in right.

There is no curve in it or anything its a flat piece of plastic. smile.gif

hope this helps
