What is the easiest/cheapest way to replace one of the climate control and cigarette lighter bulbs. I don't want to use LED and all that stuff. I already used red sharpie my climate controls to red so I know how to get to them and everything. What size bulbs? BTW I used sharpie on all my climate control stuff and it looks awesome! I'm glad I didn't paint them.

Thanks guys!

they are not 74, they are an oddball size that's already wired to a twist base... you cannot replace them without getting the whole base, only place i know to get them is a dealership, you can retrofit 74's to fit the 3 holes but you need to buy like ten of them cause you have to bust the base and pull out the wires... the normal size 74's are too long... and usually you break the bulb while doing this so buy extras

I'll post the pics as soon as I can..what page do you upload your pics to to put them on here. I love the climate control now, the only thing that is probably diff. that by using sharpie is the square (led) light is orange instead of red or the stock green. I still like it though.

Also, I've heard of people sanding the 74's down...I'll try this I just really don't want to cause a short or ruin something else. Can you buy the base and the bulb from a dealership

Thanks

Yeah, your dealer should be able to provide you with base and bulbs, and I've even seen some ' have it all autoshops ' have the base.

climate control:
from the dealership the 9.5mm bulbs cost about 9 bucks a piece.
3x Toyota Part #: 84999-70007

led stuff
i have a feeling that these 10mm Neo - Wedge things will work. *but i'm not sure.* they are down a bit on this page:
http://superlumination.com/74.htm
i've bought some, but before they were available i made my own custom ones that have been working fine since, so i've had no good reason to take out my cc-unit again.
