Anybody weigh the stock seats and 7th gen seats before swapping? Looking for ways to do weight reduction without stripping the interior, and DOT approved racing seats are not an option.

Also, does anyone know if 7th gens came with tan interiors at all? All I have ever seen is gray and black.

Thanks!

i had a set of north american 7th gen seats b4 and they weighed maybe 4 or 5 pounds more then stock 6th gen seats. If you wanna get a set of decent dot approved seats for cheap though, go with a set of recaros out of a ITR. They go for around $800 here

my 7th gen seats seemed a little lighter, if you really really really want me too, I'll weigh em when I get home in the morning. either way the diff will be almost nothing.
