how do I pull the left (driver's side) axle out of a manual transmission on a GT? I removed the 6 bolts around it, and I pulled it out of the hub, but it just doesn't come out of the transmission! I've tried prying it out. I see some how-to's say there is a snap ring, but I can't see one at all. I've been stuck on this one insignificant thing for like 2 days and I can't figure it out! frown.gif

dont just pry, you have to pry and the WHACK THE PRYBAR WITH A HAMMER! you have to overcome the tension of the snapring inside the trans that holds the axle.
